Pediatricians tell us that this is one of the hardest weeks. Fussiness reaches its peak (which we can personally vouch for), as baby is having a growth spurt (we unofficially measured her the other day and she's 24 inches long already?!). We are adjusting to parenthood pretty well though all things considered. We've temporarily traded in the cases of beer for cases of diapers, and our evenings are spent not at happy hour, but at Princess Gabby's witching hour (held promptly at 7 p.m. until 10 for those who want to join us). We take turns sitting with her while she rides out her night time fussiness, and within 3 hours or less it's over as soon as it started. All is forgiven and our happy little bundle is ours once again for 21 more hours! Then we do it all over again.
Seriously, you should come over some time! : )
