Tooth #4 popped out this weekend! We didn't have any problems, but the chica woke up crying tonight so I hope she's not too uncomfortable! Poor baby!

Jaws III

Gabby's third tooth emerged today! We could see it below the gums all week and now we can feel it! So cute. It's her top right tooth, and the top left looks to be coming in soon after... Wish us good teething luck!

Cars, books, and my Dad...

Gabby's favorite things! She loves loves LOVES her wheely cars. She drives them all over the house. She also pushes her books everywhere too and laughs at how fast she can go! Mike likes to wrestle around with Gabby and hang her upside down. She's like a bat, seems pretty happy that way!

Ten Months!

Gabrielle is sheer joy these days. She is happy, happy, happy all the time. We soak up every minute with her and enjoy every move and sound she makes. In two short months, we will wrap up our first year together and even as I type this, my eyes fill up a little and I get a lump in my throat at this very thought.

Tonight, Gabby fell asleep in my arms before bed instead of squirming restlessly, waiting for me to put her into the crib where she usually settles in all by herself. With time flying by as quickly as it does, I can't help but eat up every sweet moment we are blessed with!

Family Vacation to Sunset Beach!!

Here we are in Sunset Beach, North Carolina! We had such a fun time together. Gabby loved the birds on the beach. She would clap when she saw them and squirm to get down and chase them on her hands and knees. She was a hambone as usual, and made friends everywhere we went. The folks in the south just ate her up!

Here are some pics of Gabby taking over the beach condo. She loved zooming around all the rooms and furniture, and flashing the neighbors! We had a great time relaxing, playing games, and making Gabby laugh! Note: "relaxing" takes on a whole new meaning when you have a mobile 9 month old. We didn't exactly come home rested, but it was most definitely worth it to spend all week together!

I can't help but smile...

~ when she says Mommmm Mommmmom-mom-mommmmm...
~ when she zooms across the room when I pick her up from daycare.
~ when I try to change her diaper and she twists her body and tries to grab the changing table and do a flip.
~ when she feeds herself peas. She LOVES them!
~ when I shake the Puffs container and she comes running like a cat who heard the treats rustling.
~ when she bops her head to music.
~ when she laughs as she high tails it after the dog.
~ when I step on a squeaky rubber duck in the middle of the night.
~ when she tries to talk to Bud.
~ when she asks questions. I swear she says. "huh?" in a high pitch voice all day long.
~ when she gets excited as we pull up the driveway to our house each day.
~ when she falls asleep in our arms before bedtime.
~ when she sighs as soon as I pick her up. "Ahhh, my mommy..."
~ when just looking at her makes my heart melt, which is every single day!!!

It's official. Gabby might have 100% percent of Mike's looks, but she's got 100% of my goofiness. Gotta love this face, combined with her sniffing in and out!

Table Time

This month, it is all about eating like a big kid! We are phasing out the baby foods and giving more big kid foods. Gabby loves noodles, pancakes, jello, avocado, sweet potatoes, pears, bananas, puffs, and peaches! She hasn't mastered the pincher grasp yet, so she chop sticks her little bites of food using her two pointer fingers. Take a look below:
