Another pearly white!

Wow! We were completely surprised tonight to find that Gabby's right incisor popped through. We didn't even know she was working on a new tooth! Tooth #7 is cute as can be, hence the kitty brushing his teeth. (We're running out of shark photos that aren't just plain scary.)

She bleeds purple!

I just have to brag... Gabby has learned her first color- PURPLE! Daddy taught her, for the Ravens during playoffs. She's been learning while carrying around Mickey Mouse paint swatches from Home Depot (an idea I got from one of my mom friends). We got her to repeat "yellow" (or something like it) but purple is definitely her favorite! Daddy's little girl!!!

They always come in twos.

Gabby's 6th took emerged today! A molar on her left bottom to match the one she just got on the right. They always come in twos! She will even point to her new tooth for you and make you touch it. She's pretty proud!

Christmas is fun again!

We have been waiting for Christmas to be this fun again for a long time! Gabby was a blast this Christmas. She got a ton of presents, and really got into opening them- which we did not expect. She oohed and aaahed over every little bow and toy. It was very entertaining!

Everyone needs a stocking like this!

Gabby's Christmas stocking is complete! A few days before Christmas, this arrived in the mail for Gabby. Grandma Fifi was kind enough to take over this monster project from me. It was unlikely that I would finish all 175 steps before Gabby went away to college, and Fifi was happy to do this for the Gabster so it all worked out. I LOVE the way it turned out. Reminds me of the handmade stockings we had as kids!

Let's Go!

Gabby's 1st phrase! One day, I was getting her out of her car seat and I said, "let's go!" and to my surprise- she repeated me! Here she is again, saying it for the camera...

At exactly 13 months, we have our first molar! This makes tooth #5....

Christmas card out takes!

ONE.

Ahhh.... our sweet little angel is ONE! She had the best birthday weekend ever. All of her family and friends came to her birthday party at our church, and helped eat shark cupcakes and beachy cupcakes. Then, she sat under the palm tree and ate her ENTIRE mini cake, and had the nerve to lick the plate! She got so many nice presents, and was such a good girl all afternoon. People have been raving about her b-day bash ever since. Thanks to everyone for making the time to share this special occasion with us!

As promised, our Deep Creek Lake pics... We had a great weekend with Ryan and Felicia relaxing, hiking, and soaking in the hot tub!

Halloween!

Gabby's first Halloween was a blast! She was the cutest monkey out there, and we had no idea she would love trick or treating so much! She loved that Mommy and Daddy were yelling at the neighbors and she got to jump up and down and yell too. Oh, and she got LOTS of candy! (Not that she noticed!)

Great Grandma and Grandpa!

Gabby had a very special surprise visit before Halloween. Her Great Grandma and Great Grandpa from Florida came to visit!!! It was so special for them to finally meet Gabby. Gabby warmed up to them very quickly (as you can see), and I could tell that they were so happy to give her lots of hugs!
