Hanging out at the beach...

Here are some pics of Gabby taking over the beach condo. She loved zooming around all the rooms and furniture, and flashing the neighbors! We had a great time relaxing, playing games, and making Gabby laugh! Note: "relaxing" takes on a whole new meaning when you have a mobile 9 month old. We didn't exactly come home rested, but it was most definitely worth it to spend all week together!

I can't help but smile...

~ when she says Mommmm Mommmmom-mom-mommmmm...
~ when she zooms across the room when I pick her up from daycare.
~ when I try to change her diaper and she twists her body and tries to grab the changing table and do a flip.
~ when she feeds herself peas. She LOVES them!
~ when I shake the Puffs container and she comes running like a cat who heard the treats rustling.
~ when she bops her head to music.
~ when she laughs as she high tails it after the dog.
~ when I step on a squeaky rubber duck in the middle of the night.
~ when she tries to talk to Bud.
~ when she asks questions. I swear she says. "huh?" in a high pitch voice all day long.
~ when she gets excited as we pull up the driveway to our house each day.
~ when she falls asleep in our arms before bedtime.
~ when she sighs as soon as I pick her up. "Ahhh, my mommy..."
~ when just looking at her makes my heart melt, which is every single day!!!

It's official. Gabby might have 100% percent of Mike's looks, but she's got 100% of my goofiness. Gotta love this face, combined with her sniffing in and out!

Table Time

This month, it is all about eating like a big kid! We are phasing out the baby foods and giving more big kid foods. Gabby loves noodles, pancakes, jello, avocado, sweet potatoes, pears, bananas, puffs, and peaches! She hasn't mastered the pincher grasp yet, so she chop sticks her little bites of food using her two pointer fingers. Take a look below:

HonFest!

Forgot to post our HonFest pics! Father's Day Weekend was HonFest in Baltimore. Gabby's a local girl all the way!

New Developments

Since the squirt is on the go (and fast at that), you'll be seeing more written updates about what we are doing! These days, you can find Gabby:

~ Using any vertical surface to pull herself up
~ Flirting with the idea of standing on her own

~ Bopping her head to music
~ Smiling like crazy at her mom and dad. We are #1 to her these days and it feels great. : )

Jaws II

Gabby popped her 2nd tooth! She now has two teeny weeny little bottom teeth poking out!

Our little beach bum.

We went to Bethany Beach to hang out with Grandmom and Pop Pop this weekend! The trip was awesome, but Gabby did not like the three hour car ride. Neither did mom or dad for that matter, by the time we came home! Gabby loved the sand and her baby pool that we parked near our blanket and filled up with ocean water. She was a little afraid of the waves at first because they were so loud. After the beach, we ended up at the pool where we had a nice refreshing dip before dinner. Gabby really bounced back once we got to the pool. She is a fish, for sure!

I love these pictures of Gabby. I took them one morning while she was hanging out in her crib. (We never do bottles in the crib, but this was a particularly early morning!) She looks so grown up!
